Passholder photos are now live - helping you reduce misuse and verify entries more easily:
📸 Choose whether a pass requires a photo when creating the product
🎚️ Apply photo requirements only where needed (e.g. for season passes, not adoption packages)
✍️ Names are still collected during checkout if photos aren’t required
📧 If photos are required, customers get an “Activate your pass” email post-checkout and upload details via self-serve
📩 QR codes aren’t issued until photos are submitted
🚫 Once uploaded, photos can’t be edited
🛂 Photos are visible at check-in to confirm identity
⚠️ If no photo is uploaded, staff are prompted to allow access or resend the activation email
This gives you greater control and security while keeping the customer experience smooth.

You’ll notice a refreshed check-in experience that’s cleaner, easier to use on mobile devices, and faster to access - especially for busy scanning teams.
📍 Check-in is now a top-level menu item (was hidden under Sales > QR Scan) 📱 New fixed bottom navigation replaces the side menu for check-in pages - easier to tap and gives more space 🎥 We’ve removed the camera/scanner choice step - you can now switch methods at the top of the scan page, and it remembers your last used option 🔳 QR codes have been simplified going forward - this should reduce misreads and scanning delays
